According to the Italian website http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en Ravel Morrison has completed his signing to QPR on loan from Lazio. After starting his career in Manchester United’s youth system and being compared to the likes of Pogba Ravel has struggled to make it. He played his first senior games for West Ham when he moved from United in 2012.
@DavidAmoryal of ESPN and Dimarzio confirmed the deal was done on twitter.
He played 18 games for West Ham and scored 3 goals. He then had loan moves Birmingham, QPR and Cardiff with his best period coming at QPR where he scored 6 goals in 15 games.
His move to Lazio in 2015 should have been a great opportunity for Ravel but has struggled and only played 4 games. However having signed on a 4-year deal Lazio were reluctant to let sell him with 2 and a half years on his contract left and therefore the loan move was more suitable.
Morrison joins QPR who are sitting in seventeenth position but are climbing up the table having got 10 points from their last 5 games.
Morrison is keen to get to work with Holloway who admitted the clubs needs more flare but effort is the main priority.
