News coming for Crystal Palace is that they are very keen on signing Schlupp from Leicester City even though their £9.5m transfer offer was rejected.
Schlupp has not been included in the match day squad for Leicester in their last 6 games, so it seems strange that the Foxes want to hold on to him. However with Leicester showing interest in Norwich City’s Robbie Brady, where Norwich are holding out £12m for the left back, it seems that Ranieri may be trying to create funds so that he can make an approach for Brady.
Palace have come in to the frame after Leicester rejected 3 bids from Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion and we could be set to have a bidding war between the two clubs to see who can prize away the Ghanaian from Leicester.
It seems that Ranieri may be wanting to offload Schlupp but he certainly is not going to let him go on the cheap and with Palace struggling down the bottom end of the league, the Foxes could be waiting for a desperate bid which would then give them funds to strengthen and then maybe even prevent them from going down.
