Gus Skinner delves into the rumours around French young star Sehrou Guirassy:
According to West London Sport QPR are very keen on signing Lille star Sehrou Guirassy. Still only 20 years old the player has shown that he is worth the £600,000 that he is valued at. Still young he has played on loan this season at Auxerre in Ligue 2 and has shone in the 16 games he has played scoring 8 goals with also 2 assists.
Rangers are very keen on getting his signature but are facing competition from other promotion hopefuls Brighton. Lille are confident however that they will be able to sell for a high price with both clubs determined to bring him to their clubs. Rumours have indicated that he has already joined Brighton for €1.2m but the player still declares that he is a player for Lille so these rumours seem to be made up.
Attention really came to Sehrou Guirassy when he was named second place in Toulon Tournament when he narrowly lost to England in the final. His performance has attracted scouts from Arsenal as well.
The player definitely seems to be on the move this summer and could be a good replacement for Charlie Austin who left QPR in January for Premier League Southampton.
