Newcastle made an enquiry into how much they would have to pay to have Scott Hogan join them. The Magpies are looking for more players to make sure they get promotion with results in recent weeks starting to get worse which has caused them to slip to second.

It also appears that Newcastle could already be thinking about next season and wanting to bring in players who can have experience with the team before jumping straight into the Premier League.

However the Bees are not going to let Hogan go cheaply and are asking £15m for their main man who has already bagged 13 goals this season. They have also had interest from West Ham who are trying to help their issues in attack by securing the Brentford man.

£15m is a lot of money for a man yet to prove himself in the Premier League especially when you compare the price to the £4m that Southampton bought Charlie Austin with.

No official bids made yet but Scott Hogan could well be on his way out of Griffin Park this January.
