In an astonishing turn of events it seems that Payet’s move away from West Ham has collapsed after the East London club were asking for too much money for the Frenchman.

Marseille were stuck on their bid of £25m for the West Ham attacker but Bilic was waiting out for a bid of £30m for Payet. £30m does not seem a bad price for a player than shone on the global scale in the Euro’s where he helped France reach the final until beaten by Portugal.

Payet is going to have an interesting 10 days of ahead of him with many West Ham fans showing their disapproval of the way he has attempted to leave the club with a video of West Ham fans cleaning their shoes on his shirt on their way into their new stadium.

Payet will have to try and get a move away from West Ham because it seems that he will not play again for them with Bilic agreeing with the fans to be discontent with their best player.

Surely a proven quality Premier League player is worth £30m to some club out there. With prices of £60m for Oscar, Payet should be a bargain at £30m. He may be enticed with a big money move to China but we’ll have to wait and see how things evolve.
